LPGA Tour star and crossover celebrity Natalie Gulbis celebrated the launch of the new Flight Deck and custom-fitting lab at the TaylorMade Golf Experience by hosting a first-of-its-kind Golf Blackjack competition on the driving range.
Natalie, who lives in Las Vegas, was the “dealer” and was joined by media and local Vegas VIP’s attempting to hit large playing cards positioned on the driving range.
Natalie was successful in winning several hands and continually aimed for the Ace of Clubs. Several guests also won hands and a few hit blackjack—Ace and face card—to win a custom-fit R15R15 driver.
“Now with flight deck it adds a tour experience to TaylorMade Golf Experience and golfers can come out and get dialed in just like the pros,” said Gulbis, who lives in Las Vegas. “I loved this place and come here and practice when I am not working with Butch Harmon. They also host kids from my Boys and Girls Club and we enjoy the field trips. “As for the Golf Blackjack? Well, I love playing Blackjack and this was a nice twist and a lot of fun.”
The event was held to reveal the new Flight Deck VIP custom club-fitting experience at TaylorMade Golf Experience, a facility located on the magical Las Vegas Strip. The Flight Deck features FlightScope technology that measures the spin, speed and distance of drives, and offers golfers a tour-like fitting experience that is unique to the facility and not found outside of the Kingdom in Carlsbad. Custom-fitting experts work directly with the golfers to make changes.
The TaylorMade Golf Experience is the #1 Golf Destination in Las Vegas. The facility features a night lit 9-hole golf course, two-tiered driving range with natural and turf hitting stalls, a large retail shop and The Upper Deck Restaurant and Sports Grill. Custom-fitting experts trained at TaylorMade corporate headquarters are on staff daily and when golfers go through the fitting experience they can watch while their new clubs are built to spec immediately.
