In the first quarter, the San Diego Sockers were the first to score with a goal by Matias Kruger. The Legends answered with two goals in the first ten minutes by Boris Gujic (#21) and Franck Tayou (#9). The Legends momentum started to build at the start of the second quarter with a goal by Franck Tayou (#9). The Sockers scored two more goals in the first period with another Legends goal scored by Eric Guzman (#7) leaving the end of the period tied at 2-2.

The second quarter proved no different with back and forth goals between the two teams including one more by Gujic (#21) and another by Guzman (#7) with only three seconds left in the half. By the time each of the teams went to their locker rooms for halftime, the score was still tied at five apiece.

The Legends smothering defense kept the Sockers at bay in the third quarter and scored two more goals by Ivan Campos (#24) and Felipe Gonzalez (#12) in the powerplay.

The fourth quarter started with another goal by the Legends less than two minutes into the period by Gonzalez (#12). San Diego scored two more goals in the fourth while the Legends added one more point to the scoreboard with a goal by Tayou (#9), ending the game with a 9-7 victory.

With 21 shots on goal and nine total goals including two apiece from Gujic, Tayou and Gonzalez, the Legends shot to goal ratio was their highest all season. The Las Vegas Legends endurance and hard work was seen firsthand by their excited fans in the stands. On Tuesday, December 2 at 7:05 p.m., the Las Vegas Legends will take on the Ontario Fury in their next home game.
