The Las Vegas French Academy, also known as Académie Francophone de Las Vegas, will host the Annual Beaujolais & Beyond Wine Festival Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at Panos Hall next to St. John Greek Church at 5300 El Camino Road, Las Vegas, NV 89118.
This unique cultural experience offers an array of French savoir-faire, including wine from the Beaujolais and other regions, accompanied by distinctive French food and pastries. The evening will also be complimented with a raffle and live musical performances by the Gateway Arts Foundation.
“We’re delighted to welcome the entire Las Vegas community to join us as we integrate and celebrate this French wine tradition,” says Christelle Chamblas, Executive Director of Académie Francophone de Las Vegas. “The Annual Beaujolais Nouveau & Beyond is an uplifting, social and enjoyable event for both French and non-French speakers.”
Beaujolais Nouveau is a French red wine from the Beaujolais region in France. Traditionally, this wine is fermented only three weeks before it hits the store shelves, and is released and widely celebrated on the third Thursday of November.
