The second event in the monthly series will begin with a four-course wine pairing dinner, priced at $50 per person. The meal will start with the jumbo lump crab cake served with Asian slaw and cilantro rémoulade, which will be paired with the Franciscan Estate Sauvignon Blanc. For the second course, diners will indulge in a Brie Cheese & Truffle Oil Artisan Thin Crust Pizza, topped with sautéed mushrooms and paired with the Franciscan Estate Chardonnay. The entrée course will feature the Pappardelle Bolognese made with basil, beef-tomato ragout and shaved Romano. The pasta will be accompanied by the Franciscan Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. For dessert, guests will enjoy the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which comes with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce and will be paired with the Ruffino Moscato D’Asti.
Upcoming Sammy’s Social Club pairings include the Glenmorangie Whiskey on Wednesday, May 28, Clos Du Bois Winery on Wednesday, June 25 and Robert Mondavi Winery on Wednesday, July 30. Sammy’s will also host a special Social Club during the week of June 9 for Father’s Day, where the menu will be paired with Sierra Nevada Brewery.
