Las Vegas’ favorite Irish-themed casino, O’Sheas Casino, is bringing back its legendary St. Patty’s Day Block Party. This year’s celebration will be a weekend-long event, kicking-off Saturday, March 15 and going to Monday, March 17 (Photo: © Erik Kabik / www.erikkabik.com).
For Saturday and Sunday, Oshea’s will be stacked with live entertainment, drink specials, and more. Monday, the festivities will flow out onto The LINQ, and will kick-off at noon with Brian “Lucky” Thomas leading a parade of shenanigans. Following the kick-off will be a commitment ceremony for one lucky couple whose love story began at O’Sheas four years ago. Lucky will transform to Mini-ster© at that time, and will officiate the ceremony. The rest of the day will be packed with live music, balloon artists, stilt walkers, leprechauns, beer pong, giveaways and plenty of green beer. Drink specials to include $3 12 oz. drafts, $8.50 call drinks and $10 Irish Car Bombs.

After a 23-year reign on the Las Vegas Strip, the original O’Sheas closed in the spring of 2012 to make room for The LINQ, Caesars Entertainment’s $550 million outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment district. The original O’Sheas enjoyed a strong following and was beloved by tourists and locals alike. The reimagined space features elements of the original Strip-side casino where guests once again are able to enjoy Las Vegas in a welcoming and fun environment.
The 5,000-square foot space houses 11 table games, 15 video poker spaces, six beer pong tables, and three bars – Lucky Bar, Dublin Up Bar and the outdoor Blarney Bar. With value-priced drinks available all day long, including the house specialty, the whiskey-infused Irish Margarita, $3 draft beers and daily drink specials, O’Sheas is back to being the most beloved Irish-themed casino and bars on the Las Vegas Strip.
