Friday, November 1 through Sunday November 3, 2013, the Cannery Casino & Hotel will play host to Evolution Extreme Action Sports in which pro-riders will compete in freestyle motocross (motorcycle dirt bikes), snowcross (snowmobiles), and BMX (bicycles) – (Pictured: Keith Sayers).
Drawing big crowds, Extreme Action Sports features acrobatic high-flying athletes who perform dare-devil antics that electrify the audience. Attendees will see the pro athletes demonstrate the evolution of the back flip and the world of extreme sports while performing an arsenal of aerial stunts. Ultimately the fans become the judges; their reaction to the dynamic tricks performed by the athletes will ultimately decide who wins.
Extreme Action Sports became popular in the 1980s and have been growing ever since to become one of the world’s most exciting new sports as it progressed from skateboarding to BMX bikes to inline skating to the now famous freestyle motocross, freestyle snowcross, freestyle ATV quads and the newest extreme sport mini moto freestyle motocross. Television networks such as ESPN and TSN showcasing the summer and winter X Games have progressively enhanced the sport’s awareness.
The three-day event starts Friday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. and continues on Saturday, November 2 at 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon show and 7:30 p.m. for the evening show and again on Sunday, November 3 at 1:30 p.m. There will be a meet and greet after each show for the fans to get autographs.
In addition, this thrill-seekers event features an after-party on Friday night directly after the evening show until midnight. At the after party, fans will get the chance to meet riders, take pictures with the athletes and see their equipment, collect athlete autographs, and enjoy drink specials, raffle prizes, beer pong and more.
