Social House Presents Exclusive New Year’s Eve Seven-Course Tasting Menu Wednesday, December 31

Social House at The Shops at Crystals will welcome guests into the new year with an exclusive seven-course menu available Wednesday, Dec. 31. Created by Executive Chef Jon Amorin, the premier tasting menu is priced at $125 per person and will allow guests to indulge in a number of specialty dishes while enjoying the sights and sounds of Social House’s lively atmosphere. The night will kick off in high gear with a flavorful starter, the Omi Taro, comprised of Japanese Wagyu, crème fraiche and sparkling sake. The first course will welcome a Kumamoto Oyster followed by an appetizing palate igniter, Smoked Octopus, which is glazed in a 12-year aged balsamic reserve. Next, guests’ taste buds will be renewed with a delightful Sea Urchin Panna Cotta with an added chocolate pearl for texture. Entering the latter part of the meal, Mediterranean Seabass will be presented and served with shitake consume, snow peas and a foie gras emulsion, followed by a savory Pork Tenderloin, garnished with miso caramel. A highlight to the tasting menu is served next with the 48-hour Marinated Short Ribs, prepared in a Tokyo black porter reduction and paired with Jerusalem artichokes. The seventh course is a Chef’s selection of Nigiri – a medley of fresh saba, ama ebi and albacore on top of rice. Completing the meal with a sweet finish, guests will be treated to luscious Coconut Bavarois with forbidden rice, jasmine caramel, brulee banana and a dark chocolate sorbet. For guests looking to enhance their meal with an ultra-premium beverage pairing, Dassai 39 Junmai Daiginjo sake will be available for an additional $99 per bottle. Social House is the destination to gather with family and friends and toast to the start of 2015. The restaurant will be open from 12 p.m. until late Wednesday, Dec. 31.
