This charity tournament at the legendary AAA 4-Diamond Award-winning hotel and casino is open to the public and expects to meet a sell-out capacity of 600 players. For this tournament, half of the $1,000 per-person prize pool will benefit the Montel Williams MS Foundation, while the other half will be distributed to winning tournament players. Starting March 1, the Golden Nugget Poker Room will host 24/7 Sit & Go Satellite Tournaments, where players can win their seat in this charity event.

The Montel Williams MS Foundation was established to further the scientific study of Multiple Sclerosis. Its goals are to provide financial assistance to select organizations and institutions conducting the most current research on, and continually raising national awareness about, MS. The Montel Williams MS Foundation focuses on the crucial need for education about this deadly neurological disease. Through education and research the foundation and the organizations it assists hopes to one day determine the causes and develop a cure for this life-threatening illness.
