Jay and the Americans, a ‘60s pop group known for their distinctive sound, will perform their greatest hits at the Cannery Casino & Hotel on Friday, July 3. The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are just $14.95, plus taxes and fees.
Jay and The Americans made their entrance into the music scene with the release of the chart-topping single, “She Cried,” in 1962. The group’s success continued to rise after the release of their biggest hit “Come A Little Bit Closer,” which landed them on The Beatles’ first American tour. Some of their other hits include “Cara Mia,” “Only In America,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” and “This Magic Moment.”
