TUC Defeats TUN 55-54; FANTASY’s Lorena Peril Sings National Anthem

On March 7, the Touro University California basketball team defeated the Touro University Nevada team in a close game: 55-54. 

FANTASY star vocalist Lorena Peril blowing the roof off of the Henderson International School / Findlay Prep gymnasium as she sang the National Anthem for Thursday night’s Touro University Nevada basketball showdown with the California campus.

KLUC 98.5 Morning Zoo’s Chet Buchanan bringing the entire crowd to their feet screaming as he rallied the team at halftime and presented a proclamation from Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen.

“We will celebrate our victory next Monday at noon in the Lander Gym,” said Marilyn Hopkins, Provost and Chief Operating Officer. “Don’t miss this chance to thank our basketball team and dance squad. We will have the trophy and hammer on display.”
