Customers to get Buzzed and Help Conquer Childhood Cancer at Rachel’s Kitchen

Customers from around the valley will unite at Rachel’s Kitchen at the District on March 16 to get BUZZED. But this event is all about hair clippers and kids in need. This will mark the Third Annual St. Baldrick’s event at Rachel’s Kitchen at the District.

Owners Chris and Stacy Connors look forward to this day so they can help fund research and help children fighting cancer. Last year our supporters raised more than $10,000 dollars to assist the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in its mission to fund cancer research. And the money is crucial — more children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease, in fact, more than many other childhood diseases *combined.

Participants can collect pledges from family and friends for buzzing their hair, or sign up and just bring their donations on March 16th to the District event. The Rachel’s Kitchen St. Baldrick’s buzz will include live music from the Foothill Marching Band, a parade of green in the form of supporters, wholesome food from Rachel’s Kitchen, and a sense of pride that comes with uniting to help children in need.

Rachel’s Kitchen at the District was the first franchise for the bistro chain and opened in early 2010. The District celebrated its 3rd anniversary in February of 2013 by doubling its size to accommodate the growing number of fans.
