Caesars Palace Turns Front Fountains Purple in Honor of Spirit Day

On Friday, Oct. 19 Caesars Entertainment turned the iconic front fountains of the corporation’s flagship property, Caesars Palace, purple to demonstrate support for the GLAAD campaign against bullying (Photo credit: Denise Truscello / WireImage www.DeniseTruscello.net).
Designated as national Spirit Day, employees of the Las Vegas-based corporation were also encouraged to wear purple as a sign of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth.

In addition to changing the hue of the Caesars Palace front fountains, Caesars Entertainment resorts participated in a citywide effort to “turn” marquees purple along the Las Vegas Strip from 11 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and, again, from 10 p.m. -10:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19.
