Legendary blues-rock institution Savoy Brown to perform at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Sunday, October 14, with special guests.
One of the earliest British blues bands, Savoy Brown created an innovative sound that launched the 1967 UK blues movement and brought the style back to USA, invigorating it forever.
With founding guitarist Kim Simmonds at the helm, Savoy Brown has been a driving influence in music from its 1965 inception through today. Iconic hits such as “Tell Mama,” “Street Corner Talking,” “All I Can Do Is Cry,” and the band’s funky re-make of the Motown classic, “I Can’t Get Next To You,” brought Savoy Brown to platinum status, placing it in front of wildly enthusiastic rock audiences in arenas all around the world.
Savoy Brown released its most recent album, Voodoo Moon last year. A band who has done it all, it continues to tour the world, giving audiences a glimpse into the past and inspiring new listeners with its unique style of boogie, blues and rock.
