Namaste: Faces of India and Nepal Photo Essay at Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art Beginning October 20

Photographer Lamar Marchese will unveil a collection of candid photographs titled, Namaste: Faces of India and Nepal, for an 11-week run at the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art.
The launch of the photo essay coincides with the significant Sharad Navratri Festival – an Indian celebration dedicated to the worship of a Hindu deity Shakti.

The exhibit includes 46 large format 16 x 20 digital portraits selected from more than 2,200 photographs, creatively illustrating young and old, rural and urban, rich and poor men and women, in an attempt to reflect the diversity of the people living in both regions of India and Nepal.
John Klai and the Klai/Juba Lecture Series at UNLV and Cirque du Soleil sponsor the exhibit.
