Scheduled to open the show is Jizzy Pearl, who has fronted several rock bands including Love/Hate, Ratt, and L.A. Guns. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy free entertainment on three stages as the 100-day ‘Rock of Vegas’ summer concert series takes over downtown through Labor Day Weekend.

Bret Michaels
A rock star, reality TV star, spokesperson, businessman, and philanthropist, Bret Michaels first rose to fame as the frontman of Poison. One of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands Poison defined the fast, gritty, and glamorous rock ‘n’ roll scene with several chart-topping hits including “Talk Dirty to Me,” “Nothin’ But a Good Time,” “Unskinny Bop” and their #1 Billboard Hit “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn.” As the frontman of Poison, Michaels’ accomplishments include the release of eight studio albums, four live albums, as well as selling over 30 million records worldwide. Twenty-five years after their debut, Poison is still recording music and performing together, recently completing a tour with Mötley Crüe during the summer of 2012.

Bret Michaels’ solo career has been equally successful, recording several solo albums including his most recent release Custom Built which reached #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock list. His current solo tour, “Get Your Rock On” is selling out arenas across the country and his forthcoming solo album of the same name.

In addition to his outstanding music career, Michaels has also achieved stunning success in the realm of reality TV. His “Rock of Love” television series is one of the most successful in VH1’s history. VH1 and Bret Michaels teamed up again for his family-oriented 2010 docu-series “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.” He went head to head with some of the brightest minds in business competing on Donald Trump’s NBC hit, “Celebrity Apprentice.” Michaels “Trumped” the competition with his Trop-A-Rocka Snapple drink, winning Season 9 of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
