A Capella Sensations Pentatonix to Perform at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip December 15
July 20, 2012 by VegasNews.com

Pentatonix, best known from NBC’s hit show The Sing-Off, have taken the world by storm since their astonishing third season win. Using nothing but their voices to produce cleverly re-imagined pop songs, they have a sound that is at once entirely unique and undeniably infectious.
The quintet, comprised of Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, vocal bass Avi Kaplan, and beatboxer Kevin “K.O.” Olusola, takes its name from the world’s most widely recognized five-note musical scale.
Taking instrument-free music far beyond anyone’s wildest expectations, Pentatonix just released their debut EP, PTX Volume 1 through Madison Gate Records. Touring the country in support of their new album, while constantly creating new material, Pentatonix consistently test any preconception of what a capalla music is and just how big it can be.
