Siegfried & Roy Introduce “Save Vanishing Species” U.S. Postal Stamp

“Magicians of the Century” Siegfried & Roy and MGM Resorts International introduced the U.S. Postal Service-issued “Save Vanishing Species” stamp at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat on Monday, April 9 (Photo: © Scott Harrison/ RETNA/ www.harrisonphotos.com).

Proceeds from the stamp benefit the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Wildlife Without Borders Multinational Species Conservation Funds, which supports conservation efforts directed at targeted endangered species including tigers, elephants, rhinoceros, great apes and marine turtles.

Craig Colton, Postmaster of Las Vegas and Franz Kallao, vice president of hotel operations of The Mirage were also on hand for the introduction.

The stamp will be sold at retail outlets at The Mirage and Mandalay Bay, home to Shark Reef Aquarium, in addition to post offices across the nation.
