Rick Moonen's rm seafood Celebrates Repeal Day with Happy Hour Bash

Last night, Rick Moonen’s rm seafood at Mandalay Bay teamed up with Southern Wine & Spirits Las Vegas to host a speakeasy themed happy hour bash to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Repeal Day. The restaurant welcomed guests dressed in Roaring Twenties garb as they celebrated their constitutional right to consume alcohol (Photo credit: Paul Olguin).

The lively event was full of energy as guests mingled with Spicebox Whiskey girls, while enjoying vintage cocktails created by rm seafood’s lead bartender JR Starkus, such as Spicebox Bee’s Knees and Plymouth Gin Punch.

In addition, guests enjoyed an array of prohibition-era inspired appetizers including cold oysters with caviar, crème fraiche and chives, hot oysters Rockefeller, smoked salmon and cucumber tea sandwiches, deviled eggs, ricotta meatballs and mixed nuts.
