Lauren Conrad Hosts the 2009 Grand Opening at Wet Republic at MGM Grand

Today, Wet Republic at MGM Grand welcomed Lauren Conrad as she hosted the 2009 grand opening of this season’s ultimate pool party scene at Las Vegas’ first ultra pool (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com). 

The Hills reality icon, donning a long, flowing lavender tie-dyed beach dress with her signature braided hair, devoted time to reach into a sea of fans and pose for photos. Following the blue carpet, Lauren headed to her VIP bungalow where she battled her friends in an intense Nintendo Wii bowling match and danced on the VIP pool deck to the heart-pumping beats of DJ Crooked.

“I came in just for the day for Wet Republic,” said Conrad. “It’s the opening day of the season for ‘09 so I’m kicking it off!”

“I feel like I go somewhere new every single time,” she noted about her trips to Las Vegas. “I don’t feel like you can go wrong in Vegas as long as you have a good group with you. I love to gamble, pools during the day, then they have the best restaurants and clubs ever.”
