June 28, 2011 by

This Independence Day weekend, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino welcomes two of the most celebrated MMA fighters, Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva and Dominick Cruz, for an incredible night of partying Saturday, July 2.

After facing off against Chris Leben at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, fan-favorite Silva will host an unforgettable birthday celebration at Tabú Ultra Lounge. Sponsored by XYIENCE, the maker of Xenergy, the official energy drink of UFC, the extravagant bash will mark Silva’s 35th birthday and his return to the cage after more than one year. Also joining Silva for the celebration is Amanda Corey, sexy XYIENCE spokesmodel and 2008 winner of the reality show “Beauty and the Geek.” Fans won’t want to miss the chance to party to the sounds of DJ Mike Carbonell with the sexy model and famed MMA athlete on his momentous day.

The party will continue at Studio 54 when John Huntington presents UFC 132 main event fighter Cruz to host his after-fight party in celebration of his highly anticipated rematch against Urijah Faber. The current UFC Bantamweight Champ will party in Sin City-style at the illustrious hot spot as DJ Kid Jay spins his bumping beats all night long. Joining the fun will be the bikini-clad Tropic Beauty Model Search contestants as they anxiously await the announcement of who will advance to become a Tropic Beauty Model Search finalist. The five lucky ladies selected will move on to the Tropic Beauty World Finals competition in Vegas January 12, 2012 where they will vie for the chance to become the MGM Grand Cover Girl. The sexy ladies will heat up the night as they party with club-goers at Vegas’ hottest dance party.
