Andrew Dice Clay, the “bad boy of comedy” took the stage this week for the first of a series of performances through April 5 at SUGARCANE Live!, an intimate venue at Sugarcane at The Shoppes at The Palazzo (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com).
Clay arrives at SUGARCANE Live! following his recent appearances on the hit T.V. series “Celebrity Apprentice” with Donald Trump where he was fired for a failed cupcake-baking project. Backstage at Sugarcane, Clay was presented with 200 cupcakes as a joke about the Apprentice firing.
Clay’s rise to fame was meteoric: sold-out arenas, platinum albums and starring roles in films and TV specials showcase the talented performer who is referred to “The Rocky of Comedy” as he delivers an act that certainly isn’t for the faint-of-heart. His comedy continues to be electric, politically incorrect, macho, and shocking.
