Encore Beach Club 2011 Season Opens April 16-17 with Olympian Michael Phelps and Grammy Winner Afrojack

Last year Steve Wynn and nightlife impresario Sean Christie set a new standard for the Las Vegas pool scene when they unveiled Encore Beach Club. The Strip’s premier daytime destination, Encore Beach Club presents a luxurious, adult-only pool atmosphere reminiscent of the hot spots found in Europe. Encore Beach Club heats up again as it kicks-off its 2011 season on April 16 and April 17.

• Saturday, April 16 – 14-time Olympic gold medal winner, Michael Phelps, christens the 2011 season with a champagne and medal ceremony.
• Sunday, April 17 – Grammy award-winning resident DJ Afrojack launches DAYSTAR SUNDAYS: Party in International Waters, Encore Beach Club’s weekly party that celebrates the stable of world-renowned DJs at the venue.

Cabana reservations are highly recommended (Encore Beach Club 702-770-7300). Cover charge starts at $30. Encore Beach Club is open seasonally Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday 10:30 p.m. until close.
