Ring in the New Year with Station Casinos’ January House Entertainment

Station Casinos entertains locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.

Guests can spice up their Sunday nights with Latin Karaoke at Boulder Station, have a good laugh at High Rollers Comedy on Tuesdays at Aliante Station and enjoy an acoustic jam with Jeremy Cornwell, Peter Love and Dave Ritz on Thursdays at Red Rock Resort

Coming this month are: 

Green Valley Ranch

Every Monday:

  • Ovation – Beginning Jan. 10, guests can enjoy Rockstar Karaoke with a live band. Doors open at 7 p.m. The show is dark on Jan. 24. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Tuesday:

  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Trivia night is held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love plays piano from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Every Wednesday:

  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Sing your heart out at Karate Karaoke from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Guitarist and singer Dave Ritz performs Top 40 hits from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Every Thursday:

  • Ovation – Enjoy live music on a rotating schedule with a variety of genres. The January schedule features: jazz-inspired funk with the Lon Bronson All-Star Band on Jan. 13 and 27 and rock with the Jimmy Crespo Project on Jan. 20. The show is dark on Jan. 6.  Doors open at 8 p.m. and guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 9 p.m. to midnight. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Kelly Christian sings and plays guitar from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Every Friday:

  • Ovation – Yellow Brick Road (YBR) performs with doors at 10 p.m. This Las Vegas-based classic rock tribute band takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum with an emphasis on details and inflections. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Loveshack plays the best of the ’80s from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love plays piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
  • Lobby Bar – Jeremy Cornwell sings and plays guitar from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • Ovation – Steel Panther performs with doors at 10 p.m. This ’80s glam metal parody band demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’ roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body language. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Quinn’s Irish Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the stage from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis – Peter Love plays piano from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
  • Lobby Bar – Ryan Calhoun sings and plays guitar with an acoustic fusion of all styles, featuring covers and originals, from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. On Jan. 22, he will perform from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. On Jan. 29, a performer TBA performs in his place. Guests must be 21 years or older.  

Santa Fe Station

Every Friday:

  • Chrome Showroom – Nawgahyde rocks audiences with their brand of “mustache rock,” a fun play on traditional southern rock. Doors open at 9 p.m. and guests must be 21 years or older. 
  • 4949 Lounge – Sarah Thiele sings and plays piano from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • 4949 Lounge – Enjoy the sweet taste of hookah by Vegas Hookah from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. while DJ Miss Joy spins the night away from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • Chrome Showroom – Sin City Sinners, a Las Vegas-based band, is known for its original tracks and hard rock covers. Doors open at 9 p.m. and guests must be 21 years or older.
  • 4949 Lounge – Rick Durante performs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • 4949 Lounge – Enjoy the sweet taste of hookah by Vegas Hookah from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. while DJ Simon spins the night away from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Thursday:

  • South Padre – La Nueva 103.5 Live Mix featuring La Nueva’s Jesus “Chuy” Espiricueta along with DJ Lee mixing the top Latin hits from inside the South Padre with doors at 9 p.m. Cover is $5 for ladies after 11 p.m. and $10 for men at the door. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Garage Bar – Test your knowledge at pub trivia from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Friday:

  • South Padre – Phil Flowers performs R&B hits and is joined by J.R. Perry for his live broadcast of “J.R. Perry’s Love Drops.” Doors open at 8 p.m. Cover is $5, which is donated to The Sickle Cell Cure Foundation. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • A-Bar – Darrin Michaels plays jazz from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • South Padre – Beginning Jan. 15, guests can enjoy Strung Out Sessions, featuring an acoustic jam of guitars, pianos and much more. The set features covers from various genres and time periods and changes weekly based on audience requests. Doors open at 8 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • A-Bar – Darrin Michaels plays jazz from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older. 

Boulder Station

Every Sunday:

  • The Railhead – Latin Night with Noche Nortena featuring El Moreno Carrillo Y Su Banda Tierra Sagrada, delivering the best in regional Mexican music at 9:30 p.m. The music flows leading up to the show and between sets with a DJ spinning the best Latin tunes from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Cover is $5 for women and $10 for men. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Kixx Bar – Guests can enjoy Latin Karaoke from 8 p.m. to midnight. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Thursday:

  • The Railhead – Jerry Tiffe brings back the days of swing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., getting folks out of their seats and onto the dance floor.
  • The Railhead – Boulder Blues features local blues bands opening for some of the country’s best blues musicians on the first and third Thursday of the month. The January schedule features: Rockin’ Billy opening for Coco Montoya on Jan. 6 and the John Zito Band opening for Walter Trout on Jan. 20. Openers begin at 7 p.m. There is a $5 cover and guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Kixx Bar – Van De Guzman plays the best hits of yesterday and today from 7 p.m. to midnight. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Friday:

  • The Railhead – Saddle up for Gone Country every Friday. Put on your best cowboy boots for line dancing lessons with doors at 8 p.m. while DJ Spurs spins into the night. Against the Grain takes the stage at 9 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Kixx Bar – Enjoy cocktails and karaoke from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with DJ Tara King spinning into the night. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • ETA Lounge – Enjoy live music with as Rick Durante performs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • MRKT Sea & Land – Guitarist and singer Dave Ritz performs Top 40 hits from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • ETA Lounge – Jeremy Cornwell takes the stage with vocals and guitar from midnight to 3 a.m. On Jan. 22 and 29, he performs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Access Showroom – Caliente Noche Latina with Volume 1 perform a wide variety of music from cha-cha, ranchera and salsa to pop, disco and funk. Doors open at 9 p.m. On Jan. 22, Caliente Noche Latina is joined by Gravedad. Cover is $5 and guests must be 21 years or older.
  • MRKT Sea & Land – Guitarist and singer Dave Ritz performs Top 40 hits from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  

Palace Station

Every Sunday:

  • Louie Anderson Theater – Bonkerz Comedy hosts an open mic night featuring local up-and-coming comics at 7:30 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Tuesday through Saturday:

  • Louie Anderson Theater – Bonkerz Comedy Productions presents Louie LOL at the Louie Anderson Theater. All shows are at 8:30 p.m. Ticket prices begin at $49.95 plus tax and applicable fees. VIP packages are available at $99.95 plus tax and applicable fees and include signed memorabilia, priority seating and a meet-and-greet with Anderson. Locals and Palace Station hotel guests receive a $15 discount. The show is dark Jan. 6-8 and Jan. 13-15. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Louie Anderson Theater – Bonkerz Comedy All-Stars brings Anderson’s all-time favorite stand-up comedians to the showroom while he is on the road. The show is at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $34.95 per person plus tax and applicable fees. Locals and Palace Station hotel guests receive a $15 discount. Guests must be 18 years or older. 

Thursday, Jan. 13, Friday, Jan. 14 and Saturday, Jan. 15

  • Louie Anderson Theater – Guests can enjoy the comedy of Jim Florentine as he guest headlining for one weekend only. He is well-known as the current host of VH1 Classics network’s “That Metal Show” and has also made numerous appearances on E! network’s “Chelsea Lately.” Tickets are $49.95 per person plus tax and applicable fees. VIP packages are available at $99.95 plus tax and applicable fees.  Locals and Station Casinos hotel guests receive a $15 discount. Guests must be 21 years or older. 

Fiesta Rancho

Sunday, Jan. 16:

  • Club Tequila – Guests can celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday with R&B sensation Al B. Sure. The Grammy-nominated recording artist and producer will perform R&B classics, including his songs “Rescue Me” and “Nite and Day.” Tickets are $20 plus tax and applicable fees in advance and $30 plus tax and applicable fees day of show. Doors open at 9 p.m. An after party will follow, keeping guests grooving until 3 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Thursday:

  • Cabo Lounge – Sing the night away at karaoke from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with DJ Tara King spinning into the night. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Friday:

  • Club Tequila – Flirt Fridays has guests mingling with doors at 10 p.m. Cover is $5 for women and $10 for men. Go-go dancers shake things up starting at 10 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Saturday, Jan. 29:

  • Club Tequila – El Komander performs Latin and salsa hits. Tickets are $29.99 plus tax and applicable fees. There is a special buy three, get one free offer for tickets. Doors are at 9 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Friday:

  • Cerveza Cantina – Jarr performs lounge music and Top 40 hits from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • Cerveza Cantina – Guests can sing their favorite songs at classic karaoke from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The show is dark on Jan. 1. Guests must be 21 years or older. 

Lake Mead Casino

Every Friday and Saturday:

  • Lounge – Michael Fuller’s Road Show takes the stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The show is dark on Jan. 29. Guests must be 21 years or older.
