Being Local has its Rewards at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

December 27, 2010 by

Las Vegas welcomes 36 million guests annually from all over the world. With gratitude to Las Vegas residents, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino extends a new array of offerings just for locals. With a valid Nevada ID and a Caesars Entertainment Total Rewards card, local guests may access show ticket offers, restaurant discounts and even free play opportunities.

“The Las Vegas locals are who keep this city functioning as the entertainment capital of the world,” said Jeff Solomon, vice president of Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. “The off-the-Strip location makes Rio the prime spot for a convenient Las Vegas local getaway, and we want to extend our appreciation to the city’s residents by offering special discounts created just for them.”

Locals who sign up for a Caesars Entertainment Total Rewards card* will be able to “Play an Hour on Us.”  Las Vegans will be reimbursed up to $100 during an hour of slot play or table games. Guests may visit the Rio Total Rewards booth to claim the offer; must be redeemed within 90 days of signing up for the player card. Table games and limits will be modified to suit local demands as well.

With delicious dining offerings, the Rio is providing Las Vegans unbeatable discounts on quality cuisine from coffee shops to buffets and everything in between. Locals are invited to take advantage of 50 percent off at Carnival World Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday – Friday; and dinner on Sunday.  Guests are also offered 25 percent off at All American Bar & Grille, Buzios Seafood, Gaylord, Mah Jong, Martorano’s, McFadden’s, Sao Paulo, Sports Deli, Starbucks, Village Seafood Buffet, VooDoo Steak and Wetzel’s Pretzels. Casino bars including iBar, Race & Sports Bar, Shutters, Masquerade Bar and Village Bar present 50 percent off to Las Vegas residents. These discounts are good for up to eight people with a valid local ID and Total Rewards card. The 50 percent discount is not valid at VooDoo Lounge or The Wine Cellar.

In addition to great dining discounts, Las Vegans can also redeem exclusive show ticket deals for Penn & Teller and Chippendales. Mezzanine tickets are buy-one-get-one for Penn & Teller, providing locals an opportunity to spend an evening with the renowned comedy illusion duo. The sexy male revue Chippendales offers $25 tickets to the city’s residents. The Rio Spa and Salon will also offer 20 percent off of services.

In a city of tourists, the conveniently located Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is the premier locals destination.  A weekend of gaming, an evening of entertainment or an afternoon of dining, Rio extends its hospitality to Las Vegans as a thank you for hosting millions of guests in our beautiful city every year.

*Total Rewards cards may be obtained at any Caesars Entertainment resort.  No purchase necessary. Must be 21 years or older.
