In honor of Veterans Day, Greg London welcomed 27 members of the U.S. VETS organization to his show Greg London – Impressions That Rock! at the Riviera Hotel & Casino on Friday, Nov 12, 2010.
London welcomed his special guests from the stage and thanked them for their service to our country. After the show, the veterans had a private meet & greet with London where he gave each person a free autographed Song of America CD.
London is a long-time supporter and advocate of veterans and military personnel currently serving in the armed forces. In the aftermath of 9/11, he recorded Song of America, a CD featuring London performing patriotic hits including: Lee Greenwood’s God Bless The USA, Neil Diamond’s America, and a London original track “Heroes a Song for NY.” The CD was distributed to U.S. military men and women across the country and overseas free of charge. London has performed for many military and veterans organizations throughout his career, the most recent being the U.S. VETS Benefit Dinner “Honoring Those Who Serve,” which took place on Tuesday, Nov 9, 2010.
“I truly appreciate the sacrifices that veterans have made for our country. The men and women at the U.S. VETS organization have fought hard and given so much for our country and freedom. I am honored to have had the opportunity to perform not once, but twice for them this month and to offer them a fun night of entertainment,” said Greg London.
