President Bill Clinton addressed the crowd at the Champagne Ballroom in Paris Las Vegas on October 12, 2010 (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com). The event was a Global Fairness Initiative (GFI) fundraiser for the saltLantern Campaign hosted by Harrah’s Entertainment.

The saltLantern Campaign brings delivers clean safe solar lighting to women farmers in the salt flats of Northern India.
During the event, women dressed in traditional Indian clothing performed a dance. Former Mayor of Las Vegas, Jan Jones, introduced Clinton.
