Republic Kitchen & Bar is a modern, family friendly American bistro offering home cooking in a stylish setting. Conveniently located at Eastern and the 215, Republic boasts a welcoming staff, delectable dining and a lively bar scene seven days a week.
 
The 5,900 square foot restaurant invites guests into a great room-inspired setting, with hard wood floors, a cozy fireplace and a white brick accent wall. Guests looking to grab a quick drink after work are able to head upstairs to the Loft, a comfortable area featuring plush booths, high tables and a wide array of board games to keep everyone entertained. The Loft is also the perfect spot for a private corporate gathering or a weekly hangout to watch Monday night football while playing a friendly game of pool.
 
Chef Josh Green serves up a tasty menu blending comfort food with health conscience choices that will leave even the most discerning diner satisfied. Lunch guests can fuel the remainder of their day with an array of sandwiches, wraps and flatbreads. For a hearty lunch, try the Steak’ Em and Cheese ($8.99), a high school favorite served on artisan bread with French fries, the Republic Kobe Sloppy Joe ($10.99), with ground Kobe beef, Maui onions and ripe tomatoes or the Vermont Cheddar Grilled Cheese ($9.99) served on sourdough bread with a cup of the daily soup. Lighter options from the midday menu include the Nicoise Salad ($13.99), featuring ahi tuna, nicoise olives and string beans and the Lobster Club ($13.99), with lobster salad, micro greens, sweet corn and edamame.
 
For dinner, guests can partake in Republic Kitchen’s signature items such as the Republic Meat Loaf “TV Dinner” ($15.99) with garlic mashed potatoes, corn and a mini apple cobbler or the Republic Turkey “TV Dinner” ($14.99) with stuffing, corn and a mini cherry cobbler, served in old-fashioned porcelain TV trays. Other items include the Lobster Pot Pie ($22.99), Beef Stroganoff ($14.99) and the Republic Burger ($11.99), a half pounder with smoked cheddar, apple wood smoked bacon, balsamic glazed onions, French fries, home-made pickles and heirloom tomatoes.
 
Weekends on the east side will never be the same once locals experience the weekly Republic Jazz Brunch, featuring a unique ensemble playing an array of tunes to perfectly accompany the dining experience. The menu includes an array of pastries, yogurts and hot dishes as well as specialties like Chicken and Waffles or Eggs and Truffles with lightly scrambled eggs, shaved truffles and chicken sausage or the Republic Surf and Turf Benedict featuring sliced filet, Maine lobster meat and hollandaise.  Pricing for the all you can eat brunch ranges from $7.99 to $16.99.
 
Republic Kitchen and Bar features daily happy hour specials from 5 pm until 7 pm and reverse happy hour from Midnight until 2 am seven days a week, as well as nightly entertainment.
 
Republic Kitchen and Bar is located at 9470 S.
