Roenick, a retired 18 year NHL veteran, and Ovechkin, captain of the Washington Capitals were joined on the red carpet by actor DB Sweeney and Roenick’s wife Tracy as fans gathered around.

After dinning in the restaurant everyone headed up to the nightclub where they took over an entire section of VIP tables on the LAVO stage. Roenick and Ovechkin goofed off after being presented with cakes – each biting into the other’s dessert.

Among the NHL names spotted partying to the sounds of DJ Five were Patrick Kane along with his teammates from the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers Jeff Carter and Scott Hartnell and Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller.
