The restaurant presented him with a guitar shaped cake, which he immediately started to play beginning with the body and working his way up to the neck. In true Korn form, Munky then proceeded to destroy the cake neck and shove a fistful into his mouth. He then gave thanks to his hosts for the cake.

Over at Vanity, Eric D-Lux played Korn’s “Freak on a Leash” for Munky around 3 a.m. to celebrate his birthday in the club. Munky was overwhelmed, thanked Eric personally, and enjoyed the night with Tommy Lipnick and six of his closest friends.

The cake does not depict a “4 string bass”. It’s just a cake version of a guitar. Due to size restrictions, cake designers don’t try to create life sized items with perfect details.
That cakes afwul for the fact that yes there are a lot of errors, how hard is it to put 3 more strings on the guitar? James is one of the most famous guitarists ever because of his unique 7 string guitars, and name is mispelled, cake looks tasty though
i agree that the mispelling and the lack of strings is a bit off. but i think that it was a great effort in showing Munk a good birthday. plus Munky didnt seem to mind
