March 31, 2010 by

With the Easter baskets and chocolate bunnies safely out of the way, the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will roar back to life with an April 10-11 doubleheader.

The Bullring is Nevada’s only NASCAR-sanctioned short track and its 3/8-mile asphalt oval has launched the careers of 2004 Sprint Cup Series champion Kurt Busch and 2009 Shelby American winner Kyle Busch.

The weekend kicks off Saturday night with NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action, featuring Super Late Models, Chargers, 702graphics.com Legend Cars, 702graphics.com Thunder Roadsters, 702graphics.com Bandoleros, touring Baby Grand Nationals, USAC Midgets and an on-track driver autograph session.

On Sunday the Spring Shootout rolls into action at 11 a.m., featuring Baby Grand Nationals, 702graphics.com Legend Cars, 702graphics.com Thunder Roadsters and 702graphics.com Bandoleros.

The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, including: $1 hot dogs, $1 beer and $1 soda.

Listen to KXPT-FM 97.1 and KOMP-FM 92.3 to win free tickets to the Bullring.
