Miss America 2010: Caressa Cameron

Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron, was crowned Miss America 2010 tonight at the 2010 Miss America Pageant broadcast live on TLC from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas (Photos courtesy of Miss America Organization).

Cameron, 22, is from Fredricksburg, Virginia.  She attends the Massaponax High School Virginia Commonwealth University and is working on a Master’s degree in Mass Communications. She eventually plans to become an anchor for a television news station.

The top five final contestants tonight were:

• Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron
• Miss California, Kristy Cavinder
• Miss Tennessee, Stefanie Wittler
• Miss Louisiana, Katherine Putnam
• Miss Kentucky, Mallory Ervin
