Miss Cougar Las Vegas to be Chosen at Convention Jan. 22

January 11, 2010 by

Women who are attracted to younger men are invited to compete for the title of Miss Cougar Las Vegas at the first-ever Las Vegas Cougar Convention, Friday, January 22, 2010, at the all-new Tropicana Hotel Conference Center Ballroom, 3801 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas NV 89109. Cubs (younger men) in attendance will choose the winner.

“Age discrimination is perhaps the most pervasive prejudice in American Society,” says Rich Gosse, Keynote Speaker at the convention. “Older women, in particular, are victimized by our youth-oriented society. They are regarded as ‘non-sexy’. Supposedly every American male is only attracted to nubile 20 year olds found in the centerfolds of men’s magazines. The truth is that there are millions of American men who find older women attractive, and we will prove it at the Las Vegas Cougar Convention!

“While the prejudice against older women is obvious,” says Mr. Gosse, “discrimination against younger men is also pervasive in our society. Most women have an IRRATIONAL bias against younger men. Foolishly they prefer older men, who are less plentiful. Since men are the weaker sex and die five years earlier than women, on average, any woman who marries an older man is likely choosing to be a widow. How silly!

“Cougars tell me that younger men are better because:

  1. They are more fun and have more energy.
  2. They are better-looking.
  3. They are more likely to treat women as equals, because they were raised in a more liberated era than their older counterparts.
  4. Best of all, they don’t need Viagra.”

Rich Gosse is America’s foremost authority on finding a romantic partner. He is the author of eight books on this topic, including You CAN Hurry Love, Singles Guide to America, and A Good Man Is EASY to Find (“This is a great book!” Oprah Winfrey). His website is www.RichGosse.com.

Adults of all ages are welcome. The cost for the Las Vegas Cougar Convention is $20 at the door. Dressy attire is requested. Overnight rooms at the hotel are available for an additional $69.95 per night.

The highpoint of the Convention will be the Miss Cougar Las Vegas Contest. One cougar at the convention will be awarded the title and prizes, including a free berth on one of two Cougar Cruises (May 16-23 to the Mexican Riviera) or Dec 3-6 to The Bahamas), courtesy of www.SinglesTravelCompany.com, a DVD of Ashton Kutcher’s cougar movie Spread, etc. The winner will be a woman who is present at the Convention, legally single, and at least 40 years of age.

The Convention’s doors open at 7pm. The Keynote Address: “Why Younger Men Are Better,” is at 7:30pm. The Grand Finale is a giant dance party, 9pm-1am. At approximately 11pm, one cougar will be crowned Miss Cougar Las Vegas.

The Convention is co-sponsored by The Society of Single Professionals, the world’s largest non-profit singles organization; The Singles Travel Company’s Cougar Cruise at www.singlestravelcompany.com; and many other organizations.
