Bring in the Noise with Dumpstaphunk at B.B. King’s

New Orleans’ own Dumpstaphunk is set to perform at B.B. King’s Blues Club on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at 8 p.m. Performing songs like “She’s Music,” Dumpstaphunk’s original New Orleans sound will bring Big Easy flavor to Las Vegas.
Dumpstaphunk was formed in 2003 by keyboardist Ivan Neville, son of celebrated singer Aaron Neville; Ian Neville, Ivan’s cousin, on guitar; Nick Daniels and Tony Hall on double-bass; and Raymond Weber on drums. Originally a side-project, Dumpstaphunk is now the primary focus of the band members and was voted “New Orleans Best Funk Band” in 2007 by both Offbeat Magazine and Gambit Weekly. Dumpstaphunk has performed with The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews and Bonnie Rait, to name a few. They have also have been featured at some of the nation’s biggest music festivals, including Bonnaroo, Voodoo Fest and High Sierra.
Tickets will be available for $12 in advance and $15 day of the show.

B.B. King’s Blues Club will be open for regular business, leading up to and throughout the concert.
