Dan Strong, The Stripwalker, Takes VegasNews.com Directly to the People on Friday, Jan. 8
January 6, 2010 by VegasNews.com

A few months ago Las Vegas entrepreneur Dan Strong came up with a revolutionary marketing idea. He decided to sell his body. Well, only the upper half -- the half that wears t-shirts.
Dan calls himself The Stripwalker, and he can be seen every day walking up and down the famous Las Vegas Strip wearing the t-shirt of a client who wants to spread the word about a company, product, service or web site.
Each day, rain or shine, Dan walks from Mandalay Bay to the Fashion Show Mall and back while wearing a company's t-shirt. He sometimes goes through the casinos and sometimes stays on the street but he always goes where the crowds are.
The Stripwalker idea has caught on. Dan has clients booked for every day in January and almost all of February.
Dan makes a short video promo for each advertiser and documents his walks every day through video, pictures, blog and various social media outlets (twitter, facebook). He also tracks his route in real time via GPS.
Dan donates a portion of the proceeds to local charities.
VegasNews.com was one of the first companies to sign up with Dan, and on January 8 between noon and 6pm he'll be walking The Strip wearing a VegasNews.com t-shirt! Be sure to say hello to Dan if you see him on The Strip!
