America's Got Talent Live! Announces December Date Changes

America's Got Talent Live!, which has ended its successful ten week run at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, has announced a change in show schedules. The live show, hosted by Jerry Springer and featuring million dollar winner, singer Kevin Skinner and runner-up, opera singer Barbara Padilla will return to the CHI Showroom for a week of shows just after Christmas.
The newly announced shows will take place beginning on Saturday, December 26 and will run through Wednesday, December 30. Show times will be at 6:30 p.m. each night. Having just completed its fourth hit season on NBC as USA’s highest rated show of the summer with 15.5 million people watching the final and over 18 million tuning in during the final half hour, America’s Got Talent has drawn a great following nation-wide and has been a big hit with families in particular. The new show schedule has been made, in part, to help accommodate families who want to enjoy the show during the holiday season.
The live version of the show gives fans a chance to see some of their favorite acts from this season up close and personal. Joining Springer, Skinner and Padilla in America's Got Talent Live! at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino are many of the fan favorites from this season including drumming band Recycled Percussion, comedian Grandma Lee, break dancer Hario Torres and singing trio Texas Tenors. Springer, who has hosted past seasons of the NBC series, and the previous sold out one-off America’s Got Talent Live! event last year in Vegas, acts as master of ceremonies each night.

Produced by FremantleMedia Enterprises and SYCO in conjunction with Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, America's Got Talent Live! at Planet Hollywood will run nightly Wednesday through Sunday at 7:00 p.m. through December 6 in the 1,300-seat Chi Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and will then return for the limited run December 26 through December 30 with special start times of 6:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting PlanetHollywood.com and Ticketmaster.com or by calling (702) 785-5055.

That's great for those who didn't have tickets for the shows that were canceled. My friends and I had tickets for Dec 13 and had been planning this trip to meet each other (we are all Barbara Padilla fans on TommyUSA's site) and Barbara and her husband Kyle, when we had the rug pulled out from under us. It was too late to change plane and hotel arrangements to the rescheduled dates, so we will not get to hear Barbara and Kevin and the other finalists, which is a real bummer!

save your money, this show is a flop! i've seen more talent at high school talent shows!
