October 29, 2009 by VegasNews.com

On Tuesday, October 27, Las Vegas hosted a full night of coverage for Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie. The screening took place at The Brenden Theater at The Palms (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com).
There was a “Joseph Jackson & Family” star dedication and a party at The Playboy Club later that evening. The party featured a performance of “Thriller” by the group Freestyle Expressions Inc.
Las Vegas photographer Erik Kabik was on hand to take these photos and add his personal comments:
I give the movie 5 stars and recommend it to everyone who loves music. No matter what kind of music you like, you just cant deny the raw talent of Michael Jackson. The film reveals a very coherent, aware and true artist who seemed vibrant, healthy and ready to conquer the world with this final concert tour, making it all that more tragic of a loss. It was truly an amazing movie and left me feeling that the world has been robbed of one of the greatest talents of all time. I have never called myself a fan of Michael Jackson (although I always respected his talent), but today and onward I am a fan as I was just floored by what I saw in the film. The production and the show, even in its early stages as evidenced in this film, came to fruition and showed its full potential. Had Michael Jackson lived it simply would have been the greatest concert tour and live experience of all time. I now regret deeply that I did not take the time to go see Michael on his last tour. Go see this movie.

I’ll put something like this on my website too.
Hillariuos photographs!. Everyone is looking great, especially the kids.
I was there, at the party and we enjoyed it like anything. Wish MJ was alive to see how people are celebrating his songs…
