Latin Pop Star Luis Miguel Performs at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Leading Latin Pop Star Luis Miguel performed at the The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com).   Miguel is one of the most preeminent Latin artists in the world today, having sold more than 50 million albums worldwide.

At the young age of 15, Miguel received his first Grammy Award for his duet with Sheena Easton, “Me Gustas Tal Como Eres (I Like You Just As You Are).” During the next two decades, Miguel won a number of industry awards and topped the charts with numerous No. 1 hits. In 1993, Miguel became the first Latin singer to sell out New York’s Madison Square Garden and the first Latin artist to sell out four consecutive shows at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. That same year Miguel recorded a duet with Frank Sinatra, “Come Fly With Me,” for the album Sinatra Duets II. He was later invited to perform at the televised celebration of Frank Sinatra’s 80th birthday alongside the likes of Ray Charles, Bruce Springsteen, Natalie Cole and Bob Dylan.
