Oct. 29, 2014 – On Friday, Oct. 31, Rí Rá Las Vegas, located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, will celebrate Halloween with a Circus Freak Show Party. From 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., the pub will feature live Irish music from The Crooked Jacks and will give away various prizes to partygoers throughout the night. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best Circus Freak Show costume. Rí Rá’s Circus Freak Show Halloween Party is free and open to the public.
Oct. 27, 2014 – Kerry King, best known as a guitarist for the American thrash metal band Slayer, was spotted at Michael and Jenna Morton’s La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway inside Wynn Las Vegas last night.
King was joined by his wife and friends, who were celebrating his father-in-law’s birthday. The group noshed on a variety of signature selections from Chef Billy DeMarco including: Jumbo Lump Crab Lettuce Cups, Gorgonzola Salad, Beef Filet Crostini, Shrimp, Chicken and Sausage Flatbreads, Warm Salt-roasted Beets and finished the meal on a sweet note with the restaurant’s signature dessert, a S’mores Flatbread.
Oct. 26, 2014 – Tivoli Village, in conjunction with Cox Communications, is hosting a ghostly gathering with its fourth annual Cox Treat Streets. Families are invited to come to Tivoli Village on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a night of safe trick-or-treating, family-friendly activities, interactive game booths and live entertainment. Families with costumed children under the age of 10 are welcome to trick-or-treat at all of the various Tivoli Village and Market LV retailers and restaurants. This event is complimentary and open to the public.

To celebrate its first anniversary, Downtown Grand invites locals and My Points Downtown Grand members to visit the casino from 4 to 8 p.m. for complimentary cake and Champagne. At 5 p.m., guests can also watch Downtown Grand’s bartenders vie to create the official Downtown Grand first anniversary commemorative cocktail at MOB BAR. The winning bartender will compete as Downtown Grand’s entrant in The Mob Museum’s Repeal Day Boss of the Bars competition on Friday, Dec. 5. In addition, the winning recipe will be served at all Downtown Grand bars through Nov. 30.

Oct. 25, 2014 – Baja Miguel’s at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will serve a three-course menu and complimentary house margarita for $16.95 per person including:
- First Course: Choice of Cream of Butternut Squash Soup or a Harvest Dinner Salad.
- Second Course: Choice of Traditional Roasted Turkey Platter with mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed yams, fresh seasonal vegetables and cranberry sauce; or Cielo Mar y Tierra, a delightful combination of roast pork loin, grilled salmon and chicken breast served on a bed of green and red pepper sauce with Yucatan and fresh vegetables.
- Third Course: Pumpkin Pie.
This specialty menu is available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tax and gratuity are not included. The regular dining menu will also be available.
Twain’s group dined on several vegetarian dishes the restaurant offers, including Guy Savoy’s signature Artichoke and Black Truffle Soup and the Alba White Truffle Risotto. They also paired their meal with Far Niente Chardonnay. The group had a wonderful experience and thanked the staff for the memorable dinner.
Oct. 19, 2014 – Mystery Shopping in Nevada – The state of Nevada regulates all mystery shopping activity. The state of Nevada is the only state that requires a work card to mystery shop. It is regulated by the Nevada PILB. Nevada residents who perform mystery shopping jobs without this work card may be fined $2500.00 per occurrence. Unfortunately there are mystery shopping companies who will offer you jobs which could end up costing you a hefty fine. The majority of licensed companies will fully reimburse your work card costs once you complete a certain number of assignments for them. Oct. 17, 2014 – Pop superstar and Las Vegas headliner Britney Spears was spotted attending ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace on Thursday, Oct. 16. On a night off from her residency show Britney: Piece of Me at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, Spears was seen enjoying the outlandish acts and hilarious antics featured in ABSINTHE during last night’s 8 p.m. performance.
Oct. 10, 2014 – The Shade Tree will join forces with SNFA to hold the 2nd annual ‘Driving FORE Charity’ golf fundraiser. Golfers will support the shelter by experiencing a fun day filled with golfing, lunch, raffles and an awards dinner. In addition, the 18th hole will give away a brand new 2014 Chevy Cruz LS for a hole in one, courtesy of Fairway GMC dealership. Oct. 6, 2014 – On October 6, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, Flamingo Las Vegas headliner and breast cancer “thriver” Olivia Newton-John will ceremoniously light the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel – pink for the night. Olivia will be joined by Chippendales from Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, who will be donning special pink cuffs and collars. She is also inviting fellow breast cancer survivors, who she refers to as “thrivers,” to join her at The LINQ Promenade and High Roller to help spread awareness and have the opportunity to ride the High Roller for free from 6 to 8 p.m.
Oct. 5, 2014 – NHL player and current captain of the Colorado Avalanche Gabriel Landeskog was spotted dining at LAVO Italian Restaurant Friday evening. Landeskog, in town for a pre-season game against the Los Angeles Kings, and a small group of friends all enjoyed signature dishes from the Italian eatery including Chicken Parmigiano and roasted Chilean sea bass.
Oct. 4, 2014 – Last night, Thursday, Oct. 2, motocross superstar Carey Hart stopped by the patio at Culinary Dropout inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Taking a seat at a lounge table, Hart and his friends hung out at the popular gastro pub for several hours enjoying rounds of beer. The group was in town for the 2015 Suzuki Dealer Show being held at The Joint.

UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was spotted partying at Crazy Horse III for some sexy after-hours fun late Tuesday night. The mixed martial arts star enjoyed a VIP table where he sipped on cocktails, mingled with the club’s stunning entertainers and kept the party going into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Oct. 1, 2014 – HAZE Nightclub at ARIA Resort & Casino will be closing its doors at the end of October to make way for a new concept in 2015.
