KOMP 92.3 Radiothon to Benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association Aug. 7

KOMP 92.3…The Rock Station announces its 2009 Radiothon to take place Friday, August 7, 2009, benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

From 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. listeners can call 702-895-1050 or stop by the Thomas & Mack Center, to visit their favorite KOMP jock. With a $20 minimum donation, listeners can request their favorite song. As an extra incentive, the more you donate, the quicker your song will be played on air.

Local bands are also encouraged to donate: With a $100 gift, the band can choose one of their songs to be played on-air and given great exposure to all of KOMP 92.3’s listeners.

Silent Auction items, including rock, sports & movie memorabilia will be on display throughout the day at the Thomas & Mack, with amazing items available for bidding. Visit www.WeAreLV.com during the radiothon for a list of items. All proceeds raised during the daylong event will benefit the MDA.
