Celebrities and VIPs helping to celebrate the show’s opening included Tropicana headliner Murray SawChuck (and the Pawn Stars’ magic expert) and his wife Chloe Crawford (a featured dancer at FANTASY and Playboy’s new Cyber Girl). Also spotted were actress/singer Pia Zadora, actress Sabina Kelley, Magician and Illusion Consultant Douglas “Lefty” Leferovich and BMX superstar Ricardo Laguna.

“Pawn Shop Live” cast members include Sean Critchfield (as Slick Garrison), Gus Langley (as The Boss), Garret Grant (as Chump) and Enoch Scott (as Old Fart – a puppet version of the Old Man. Scott plays multiple roles in the show).

Unlike the TV show’s all-male cast, “Pawn Shop Live” includes three women: Anita Bean (A talented actress who performs a variety of roles including Criss Angel!), Sidney Kounkel (Showgirl/Dancer) and Kady Heard (Showgirl/Dancer).

Actor Sean Critchfield (Slick Garrison) narrates various flashback sequences, some on video and others live, with the entire cast and a few guest celebrities playing a variety of characters in the family’s history.  Some “facts” presented in the flashbacks: how Rick’s school problems as a child eventually made him extremely knowledgeable, how the Old Man got involved with moonshine, joined the Navy, opened a comic book store in Las Vegas, and paid a bribe to get a pawn license. We also learn how Big Hoss and Chumlee met and became friends.

The “Pawn Shop Live” cast does a great job of portraying the Pawn Stars family, Chumlee and the show’s associated characters. Much of the live show’s humor is derived from the TV show but the talented cast adds plenty of funny and exciting moments. If you’re a fan of Pawn Stars, this is a must-see show!

The plan is for one or more of the original Pawn Stars cast members to be involved in each show in some way.
