Tacos & Tequila Introduces New Fiesta-Worthy Menu Items

Guests will go loco for appetizer selections including: Sopes topped with black bean puree, chicken, carne asada and pork with salsa roja, salsa verde, crema fresca and Cotija cheese, priced at $14; Taquitos made with a choice of shredded beef barbacoa or roasted poblano potato puree, chile morita, black bean puree, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole and crema fresca in a corn tortilla, priced at $11; and the option to add vegetables to the Queso Fundido dip made with melted Oaxaca and Gouda cheeses and chile morita salsa.

New entrées include: Seafood Relleno, a poblano chili pepper stuffed with baby scallops, crab meat, shrimp and Gouda cheese cream sauce, priced at $19; and Chicken Tostada made with shredded chicken, crema fresca, Cotija cheese, black beans and shredded lettuce served in a tostada bowl, priced at $14. Additional enchilada options include the Vegetable Enchiladas made with grilled zucchini, yellow squash, mushroom, poblano rajas, roasted yellow corn, onion, epazote (a popular pungent herb used in Latin-America cooking), crema fresca and topped with poblano cream sauce, priced at $17; and Seafood Enchiladas made with baby scallops, crab meat, shrimp, pickled cabbage and carrots wrapped in a corn tortilla and topped with tomatillo sauce, priced at $18. Barbacoa tacos including oven roasted lamb shank cooked in Mexican adobo and spices, priced at $17, have also been added to the menu.

Priced at $12 each, the new cocktails include the Roasted Piña, made with Montelobos Mezcal, a distilled alcoholic beverage with a smokey flavor made from the maguey plant, Ancho Reyes liqueur and fresh pineapple; and The Skinny, a slimmed down version of the signature T&T Top Shelf Margarita, made with Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado tequila, Citronage orange liqueur and fresh squeezed lime juice sweetened with Splenda. An updated version of T&T’s signature Choke on the Smoke cocktail is also available including Jose Cuervo Tradicional tequila and capped with a measure of Del Maguey Mezcal.

Tacos & Tequila, a highly-stylized Mexican restaurant and bar with a fun, high-energy vibe and flavorful menu is located at Luxor Hotel and Casino.
