Lifehouse to Headline Fourth Annual Rock 'n Roll Wine Festival Sept. 26

Rock ‘n Roll Wine will host its fourth annual Wine Amplified Festival featuring the award-winning, multi-platinum group Lifehouse Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Mandalay Bay Beach. Doors are scheduled to open at 7 p.m. and special guests actor/musician Tyler Hilton, as well as Los Angeles rockers The Tender Box, will kick off the evening’s festivities. The event will conclude at 11 p.m. followed by the official after-party at Mandalay Bay’s Moorea Beach Club.

Tickets priced at $50 in advance and $55 the day of the show, not including applicable service charges, are now on sale and available at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith’s Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. Fans must be 21 years of age or older to attend and the ticket price includes all wine tasting and live entertainment. In addition, guests will receive a $10 voucher good toward the purchase of many of the featured wines at local retailers.

This year’s festival will intensify its sexy brand of approachable, high-energy wine tastings by bringing in more than 50 wineries, showcasing more than 150 unique wines, and will combine it with an incredible evening of live music. “Over the past three years the positive response to our Festival and its unique combination of wine tasting and live concert has been overwhelming,” said Founder Chris Hammond. “Each year we further solidify this as one of the premier wine events in the country.”

Co-founder Sonny Barton agreed, “The customer experience is what we’ve always prided ourselves on and this year we promise to continue this tradition with another roster of rock-star wines and high-energy entertainment at an affordable price.”

Lifehouse, an alternative band from Los Angeles, Calif., has been a constant atop the modern rock and pop charts for the last eight years. The band’s debut album No Name Face was introduced in 2001 and produced “Hanging by a Moment,” the No. 1 song that year which also received more radio play than any other song. In 2002, the band released its second album, Stanley Climbfall and the single “Spin” quickly climbed the Billboard charts.

After extensive touring, Lifehouse released a self-titled third album in 2005 and the ballad “You and Me” spent a record 60 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. Their most recent album, the 2007 release Who We Are, contains hit singles “First Time,” “Broken” and “Whatever it Takes.” The group is currently working on producing its fifth studio album.
