Nevada Public Radio Kicks Off Summer of Extraordinary Experiences Auction August 6-15

Nevada Public Radio’s Summer of Extraordinary Experiences, a fundraising auction that lets listeners of News 88.9 KNPR FM and Classical 89.7 KCNV FM make financial contributions for indulgent entertainment and dining experiences, runs from August 6-15.

The annual community event connects listeners with Southern Nevada’s business community for a good cause – support for public radio. It promises an exciting payout for those who place winning bids through the online auction at www.knpr.org. People can purchase dining certificates, show tickets and entertainment packages, staycations, shopping experiences, discounted memberships to Nevada Public Radio and more; all proceeds will benefit Nevada Public Radio. Auction highlights include a shopping spree at The Shoppes at The Palazzo, a Black Canyon Willow Beach river adventure in Utah and A Night of Laughter at Treasure Island featuring tickets to Bill Cosby in concert and dinner at Khotan, Treasure Island’s new Pan-Asian restaurant.
