In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the pub will host a pink-themed soiree and encourage guests to wear their best pink outfit or dress. Groups of six or more who dress in pink will receive one complimentary glass of champagne per person. To show their support in the fight against breast cancer, party-goers may also purchase $10 pink boas during the party with all proceeds benefiting the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Additionally, pink paper ribbon icons will be sold all month long with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit.
Various prizes, including a grand prize two-day trip to Los Angeles with flight and accommodations, will be awarded to the best-dressed guests. Raffle prizes, which include 24 engraved commemorative Guinness® glasses, will also be featured throughout the evening. To cap off the night, The American Diddly Idols will take the stage at 9 p.m. Rí Rá’s Little Pink Dress Party is free and open to the public.
The pub continues to raise awareness throughout October by featuring a specialty cocktail, the Pink Jameson Cherry Sour ($10) made with Jameson Irish whiskey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar syrup, fresh cherries, a dash of egg white and Perchaund’s Bitters.
