Rock Band Daughtry Returns to Mandalay Bay Beach Concert Stage August 23

American rock band Daughtry, led by American Idol Season Five finalist Chris Daughtry, will bring its high-energy performance to the Mandalay Bay Beach Friday, Aug. 23 at 9 p.m.
In November 2011, Daughtry which features vocalist Chris Daughtry, guitarists Josh Steely and Brian Craddock, bassist Josh Paul and drummer Robin Diaz released its third studio album Break the Spell and within a month, it was certified gold. Break the Spell is a gleaming showcase of Daughtry’s powerful and emotionally resonant voice and is described as “nothing like the previous two” albums. The album produced hits including “Crawling Back to You,” “Outta My Head” and “Renegade.”
The band has previously released back-to-back No. 1 albums including its quadruple-platinum debut DAUGHTRY, which became the fastest-selling rock debut in Soundscan history, and 2009’s platinum Leave This Town. DAUGHTRY has scored four No. 1 Top 40 hits (“It’s Not Over,” “Home,” “Feels Like Tonight” and “No Surprise”), earned four GRAMMY Award nominations (including “Best Rock Album”) and won four American Music Awards. The band is currently working on its fourth studio album expected out in the near future.
